Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates) won big on Thursday’s stage 5 of the Tour de Suisse. The twenty-year-old Ayuso soloed to victory 54” ahead of Mattias Skjelmose (Trek-Segafredo) and Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious).
Skjelmose, who lost the yellow jersey on Wednesday, now leads the GC followed by Felix Gall (AG2R Citroën) at 6″ and Ayuso at 18”.
