With all the hype around the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup series, and the Telenet Super Prestige Cyclo-Cross series, it can be easy to forget that the the European Cyclo-Cross Championships will take place November 4-6, in Namur, Belgium. Almost all of the Europeans presently racing in World Cup and Super Prestige series are expected to show up to the European Championships.
Eli Iserbyt (BEL) and Fem van Empel (NED) will be the favorites in the Men’s Elite and Women’s Elite races. Both are the current leaders in the World Cup series, having won the first three events in their respective categories.
