The Elite Women’s race was a 1-2-3 Dutch sweep. As predicted by many, Fem van Empel took command early on and powered away from Puck Pieterse on the fast, dry course, leaving Puck Pieterse and Lucinda Brand to battle it out for 2nd place. At the finish, Van Empel had 39 seconds over 2nd place Pieterse and 1:11 on Lucinda Brand who placed 3rd.
