Shirin van Anrooij (NL) dominated the U23 Women’s race on Sunday finishing 33 seconds ahead of 2nd place Zoe Backstedt (UK), and 1:32 ahead of Kristyna Zemanová (CZ) who finished 3rd. Podium favorites Line Burquier (FR) and Marie Schreiber (LU) both crashed hard and fell out of contention, ending up 5th and 6th. Only 4 riders out of 32 finished within 2 minutes of winner Van Anrooij.
