2023 CX World Championships: Junior Men – It’s Leo Bisiaux (Of Course)!

There were no surprises in the Junior Men’s race on Sunday. Léo Bisiaux (FR) repeated his performance from the European Championships and took the win in front of Senna Remijn (NL), who finished 2nd, and Yordi Corsus (BE), who was 3rd.

With 71 starters, the Junior field was one of the largest in years and one of the most crash-riddled events of this year’s World Championships. A pile up in the first 50 meters put twenty riders immediately on the pavement and forced that many more into the position of playing catch up for the duration of the 40 minute race.

Only 12 riders finished within 1 minute of the winner, Léo Bisiaux, while more than 40 riders finished 2+ minutes behind.
