Justine Ghekiere (AG Insurance – Soudal) put in a super performance on stage 7 from Champagnole to Le Grand Bornand, securing her lead in the polka-dot jersey and taking the stage victory. She was followed by Maeva Squiban (Arkea-B&B Hotels) who took second at 1:15″ and Demi Vollering (SD Worx-Protime) and Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon//SRAM) who came in third and fourth at 1:23″.
