The L’Hérault region, just north of Montpellier, is one of the best kept secrets for gravel riding in southern France. While the Alpes and Pyrenees have for years been synonymous with mountain biking, the introduction of gravel bikes has opened up a number of off-roading options in regions previously under-used by cyclists.
